8 “lesser known” symptoms of cancer

Over the years its incidence has increased, it is the third cause of death in Mexico according to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography . Although early detection is key to reducing your mortality, it is sometimes complicated by certain little-known symptoms of cancer.

On the other hand, there are more than 100 different types of cancer and some of them have a higher incidence in certain populations; example, breast, lung, uterus and leukemia, in the case of Mexico.

Its diversity in shape and location sometimes makes its timely diagnosis difficult. However, if people are aware of some unusual symptoms of cancer, they can help detect it.

1. Stomach and back pain (occurs when the tumor has grown enough to press on nearby nerves and organs) in the case of pancreatic cancer.

2. Eyes and skin turn yellow (the disease blocks the flow of bile).

3. Heavy night sweats.

4. Blood clots in the legs (also in pancreatic cancer).

5. Increased calcium levels in the blood, causing weakness and dizziness (lung cancer).

6. Appearance of sores.

7. White spots appear on the tongue and inside the mouth.

8. Persistent cough or hoarseness.
